I’ve been programming PCs since 1980, when I bought my first computer (a Radio Shack Color Computer) with the money I earned from delivering newspapers.
Since then, I’ve built, sold, and repaired PCs – and written more programs than I can count.
I’ve developed desktop programs, websites, REST web services, SOAP web services, RPC services, gRPC services, and OS services – generally in the Microsoft realm.
These programs have been for anyone from a few handfuls of users, up to Fortune 5 companies. They’ve been for a wide variety of industries: distribution, pharmaceuticals, legal, insurance, real estate, oil exploration, defense contractor, and more.
One of my favorite programming things is to improve the quality, stability, and performance of existing apps. I also like building software tools that make it easier to build higher-quality programs faster.
I’m in Chattanooga Tennessee now, where I spend my free time writing my open source projects, working to optimize my health and fitness for longevity, occasionally writing short science fiction, and creating holes in distant pieces of paper.
If you’re interested in having me work with you, or want to collaborate on an open source project, please contact me.
